MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 21 August 2020 – Infront Moto Racing would like to announce an update on the upcoming editions of the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship.

Originally scheduled to take place on the 8th – 9th of August in Megalopolis, Greece, the 2020 edition of the event has been postponed to summer 2021 with the event date to be announced. Additionally, Moto Club VantaaFinland were due to host the FIMJunior Motocross World Championship event next year but will now instead host the world’s fastest youth riders in 2022, an important year for the FMNR (Finnish Motorcycle Federation) as it will celebrate their 100th anniversary and what a better occasion to mark that moment than hosting the prestigious 2022 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship.

It is with great regret that the FIM and Infront Moto Racing have to announce that the 2020 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, originally scheduled to take place on 8 & 9 August in Megalopolis, Greece, will not be taking place this year.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the global restrictions put in place for safety reasons, many of the 2020 events have been forced to be rescheduled to a later date.

Following the announcement of the 2019 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in Trentino, Italy, the FIM and Youthstream are pleased to announce the venue for the 2020 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship as well! The 2020 event will head to Greece and the former Motocross World Championship venue of Megalopolis.

Organized by the Aris AC together with ALMA Megalopolis and full support from Peloponnisios Prefecture, the event will mark the return of a world caliber event for the first time since the 2010 MX3 World Championship and the 2011 FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship made stops in the ancient city at the PPC-MINES MEGALOPOLIS CIRCUIT.
